Fabricated from Corten steel (also known as A588, A606, or weathering steel), this sculpture naturally resists corrosion, developing a rich patina over time without the need for paint. The oxidation process typically takes 2 to 6 months, though an acid treatment can accelerate it within hours. In the final image, you can see this process in action—the treatment being washed off, with the transformation unfolding in just a few hours to a day.
This version features a sleek black patina, creating a bold, seamless aesthetic. However, you can also choose to receive it in its natural state, allowing the patina to develop over time, contrasting beautifully with the stainless-steel accents. Additional customization options include material choices such as bronze, stainless steel, or a powder-coated color of your choice, as well as modifications to the size, shape, or design elements to suit your vision.
